Arnaudville - Funeral services are pending for Monday, May 30, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Joseph Eugene Richard, 64, who died Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Opelousas General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include his wife, Jereline Richard of Arnaudville; his sons, Kenneth and his wife, Libbie Lalonde Richard, Shane and his wife, Arlene Olivier Richard, and Richard and his wife, Jodi Lanclos Richard, all of Arnaudville; his daughters, Julia Richard Lanclos and her husband, Robert of Arnaudville, and Paula Richard Whaley and her husband, Warren Whaley, Jr. of Port Barre; his brothers, Melvin Richard of Morgan City, Paul Sidney Richard of Arnaudville, Wilson Richard of Cecilia, Lester Richard of Cecilia, Jeffery Richard of Leonville and Steven Richard of Cecilia; his sisters, Vivian Richard of Morgan City, Connie Bergeron of Leonville and Mary Jane Allemond of Mamou; seven grandchildren, Brandon Lanclos, Kendra Basco, Lance Richard, Victoria Whaley, Brooke Lanclos, Chelsea Richard and Jonathon Whaley; one great grandchild, Kailee Alicee' Basco; and his mother, Marie Stelly Richard of Mamou. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Richard; his grandsons, Brent Anthony ""T-Brent"" Goudeau and Mark Richard; and his father, Sidney Joseph Richard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9 AM ~ 10 PM on Sunday and continue at 7 AM on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Sunday. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Richard, Shane Richard, Richard Richard, Lance Richard, Robert Lanclos and Brandon Lanclos. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
