Joseph Alcee Sanders

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Joseph “T-Joe” Alcee Sanders, 44, who passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Joseph was born on November 26, 1978, in Breaux Bridge.  He was a member of the Henderson Volunteer Fire Department and a dedicated employee of Guidry's Fresh Cuts in Arnaudville.  He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and going to cook-offs as well as spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his fiancée, Pamela Angelle; daughter, Emma Ann; step-children, Ambrosia, Wilton, and Olivia; step-grandchildren, Aleigha and Karsyn; father, Alvin Sanders, Sr.; brother, Alvin Sanders, Jr. (Martie); sister, Malinda Sanders; aunts, Verna Boyer, Barbara Sanders, and Mary Picard; uncle, Irvin Boyer (Sylvia); and his niece, Hannah Sanders.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lou Ann Boyer Sanders; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
