Joseph Gary Sonnier, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at his home. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. He is survived by his loving companion, Kimmy Vidallia; son, Joseph Kent Sonnier; daughters, Gwendolyn Dahn Willett and husband Kevin, and Sarah Elizabeth Sonnier and fiancé Tyler Miller; brother, Jerry Sonnier; sisters, Irene Doucet and husband Wayne, Karen Hardy and husband Mike, and Geraldine Savoy and husband Warren; grandchildren, Kristin Lyons and spouse Kasey, Logan Sonnier, Cameron Sonnier, and Shaunessey Sonnier; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin James Michael and Nathaniel Lyons. He was preceded in death by his father; Joseph Liness Sonnier; mother, Genevieve Doucet Sonnier; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
