St. Martinville- Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. , on Saturday, May 14, 2011 , at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Josephine Williams, 91, who passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Iberia Medical Center . Rev. Augustinus Seran will conduct the services. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include her companion, Phill Bond of St. Martinville; her sons Murphy Batiste Jr. (Clara) of St. Martinville and Hank Williams of St. Martinville; her daughter, Marion Savoy Winifred of St. Martinville; her 9 grandchildren; and her 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Theresa Narcisse Millazo; her husband, Leonard Williams; her brother, Fred Valsin; and her sisters, Violia Miles, Lucy Durand, Alice Lambert, Rita Durand, and Ann Coleman. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
