Joyce R. Alleman

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church to honor the life of Joyce R. Alleman, 93, who passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 1:30 pm until 9:00 pm. It will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 am until 10:30 am.

A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Monday evening, by Dot Daspit.

Father Jason Vidrine will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Lori Roseberry LaComb.

Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.

Joyce was a devout Catholic and a cherished parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, where she found solace and strength throughout her life. Her unwavering faith was reflected in her daily routine, which often included watching Catholic services on television embodying her deep spiritual devotion.

Joyce's culinary talents brought joy to many. She delighted in baking and cooking for her family, creating memorable gatherings filled with laughter, love, and amazing food. Saturdays were special to Joyce, who cherished mornings spent sipping coffee and sharing stories with loved ones. Her garden was another passion, with flower beds that reflected her nurturing spirit. Despite her advanced years, Joyce embraced social media and she loved spending time on her iPad.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Dallas Alleman, Steven Alleman and Martin Alleman (Allison); brother, John Roseberry (Jeannie); and grandchildren, Stacie Alleman, Beau Alleman, Alexandra Alleman and Brandon Alleman.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Alleman, Sr.; parents, John Roseberry, Sr. and Lilly Roseberry; sisters, Goldie Champagne and Lena Bonin; and brother, Michael Champagne.

Pallbearers will be Steven Alleman, Martin Alleman, Brandon Alleman, Loni LaComb, Trent LaComb, and Mark Roseberry.
