New Iberia - A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, (1401 Marjie Street, New Iberia) Joyce Davis Chambers, 72, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at her residence.

Joyce was born on August 29, 1951 in New Orleans. She was a fulltime servant of Jehovah for 34 years. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her spouse of 48 years, Roland Chambers, Sr.; children, Roland Chambers, Jr., Damian C. Bernard, and Kenton H. Bernard; grandchildren, Khrystian Nicole Bernard, Dreami Joyce Chambers, Amor Chambers, Roland Chambers, III, and Kyler Bernard; siblings, Elaine S. White, Shelika D. Poole (Elvin Poole, Sr.), Rickey Davis, and Sam Davis, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Davis, Sr.; mother, Rosemary Stewart Davis; and her brothers, Charles Davis, Harry Davis and Michael Davis.
