Joyce Brasseaux Clause

Cecilia A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 9, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Joyce Brasseaux Clause, 75, who passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12 noon until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7 am until time of service, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm on Sunday. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Joyce enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts work, cooking and baking. She looked forward to and treasured many times spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Emery Todd (Theresa) Clause of Arnaudville; two daughters, Cheryl (Carl) Bourque of Arnaudville, and Carol Lormand of Sunset; two sisters, Shirley (Eugene) Robin of Leonville, and Margie (Butch) LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren, Cherie B. Boudreaux, Kristin B. Tauzin, Tessa Lormand, Michael E. Clause, and Joseph Mistric; and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Clothide Knott Brasseaux; her husband, Emery James Clause; two sisters, Lee Anna Sanders and Verlie H.
