Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Joyce Ann Huval, 84, who passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:30 am on Wednesday.

Deacon Dennis Landry will officiate at the funeral service.

Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Joyce was born on October 23, 1940 in Hayes, Louisiana. Joyce had an innate ability to light up any room she entered. Her spirit was adventurous and free, reflected in her love for fishing and the joy she found in the great outdoors during camping trips. She was always ready with a smile and a helping hand, embodying kindness in all she did. Joyce enjoyed spirited games of Yahtzee and Pokeno, where her laughter echoed, filling the spaces with warmth and camaraderie.

Above all, Joyce was a caregiver at heart. She had an unwavering dedication to taking care of others, embodying compassion and grace in every interaction. Her selflessness and nurturing nature were felt not only by her family but by everyone fortunate enough to know her. Joyce's legacy is not defined merely by her interests but is richly encapsulated in the love she so freely gave.

She is survived by her sisters, Delarcie Bergeaux and Audrey Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Huval; parents, Loris and Marie Gallet Thibodeaux; brothers, Lernis Thibodeaux and Irvin Thibodeaux; and her sister, Helen Larochelle.

Pallbearers will be Anthony "Navet" Huval, Jamie "Beany" Huval, Tim Trahan, Josh Huval, Jake Huval and Jimmy Andrus.
