Joyce was born on March 6, 1940, in Breaux Bridge. She enjoyed a rewarding career in the oil industry, where her leadership and commitment to excellence shone brightly. An active member of her community, Joyce contributed to various organizations, including the Desk and Derrick Club, the Acadiana Society of Safety Engineers, the Krewe de Canailles, and the Red Hat Society. Additionally, she was a member of the Community Baptist Church and sang in its choir.
Joyce's vibrant spirit extended beyond her professional endeavors; she was an avid traveler and loved seeing the world. She found joy in dancing, singing, nurturing her flower garden, and sharing moments of prayer with her church family and during Bible study.
