New Iberia – Arrangements are pending for Juanita Theresa Sanders Labit, 76, who passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
A longtime resident of New Iberia, Juanita Theresa Sanders Labit was born in Morgan City, Louisiana on June 22, 1949, to the late Charles Gordon and Agatha Theresa Glenn Sanders.
A passionate soul with a talent for crafting, Juanita found joy in cross-stitching, sewing, and the art of baking and cooking. Her hands wove love into every stitch and meal, creating beautiful objects, delicious treats, and cherished memories. Whether she was nurturing her garden or soaking up a good book, Juanita's joy in life's simple pleasures radiated.
Juanita had a special place in her heart for her beloved cat, "Lil Boy," who often kept her company during her quiet moments. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren. The laughter shared, the stories told, and the wisdom imparted during their gatherings will remain forever etched in their hearts.
