Juanita, known to many as, "Lun" was born on September 22, 1935, in St. Martinville. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Her greatest accomplishment was her beautiful family. Family nights every Wednesday, where she cooked and brought everyone together and traveling the world with her husband are treasured memories. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Willie E. Rester; children, Kenny Rester, Pati Rester, and Glen "T-Glen" Rester (Anita); grandchildren, Paul Tylock (Lauren), Casey Tylock (Lori), Mariah Murray (Chase), Gunner Rester (Connor), and Devyn Rester; six great grandchildren with one on the way; and her siblings, Merlin Bourque, Similien "Jun" Bourque, Jr. (Carleen), Nelda Charpentier (Eddie), Betty O'Rourke and Beulah Rabeaux (David).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Similien Bourque, Sr. and Anadia Talley Bourque; and her siblings, Floyd Bourque, Delvin Bourque, Sr., Allen Bourque, Delta "Toot" Norris, Clifton Bourque and Eula Bourque.
Pallbearers will be Glen "T-Glen" Rester, Kenny Rester, Paul Tylock, Casey Tylock, Rodney Norris, and Johnny Norris.
