Judith Womack Delcambre was born in Princeton, Indiana on October 1, 1945 to the late Loyd William Womack, Sr. and Helen Marie Jester Womack, and was raised in Texas. To know Judi was to love her. She was the most caring, loving and giving person that put everybody else before herself. Although she was a Texas transplant, she was an excellent Cajun cook, and enjoyed grocery shopping; she even made grocery lists while she was sick in bed! Judi was frugal, and never passed up a sale. She loved her friends, and had a tremendous sense of humor. Judi had a zest for life and loved to laugh. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest accomplishment was taking care of her family, and she will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Delcambre is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Kenneth J. Delcambre; sons, Gregory Allen Womack and wife Lisa of Seabrook, TX, and Loyd B. Delcambre and companion, Kim Osborn of La Plata, MD; daughters, Patricia Marie Delcambre of Loreauville, and Denise Renee' Delcambre-Brassette and husband Tony of Abbeville; brother, Loyd William Womack, Jr. and wife Barbara A. Womack of Spicewood, TX; grandchildren, Caleb Sumrall and wife Jacie, Kirsten Bourque and husband Chris, Daniel Butler, Alec Delcambre, Jake Delcambre, Piper Benson and companion, Michael Dattalo, Hannah Womack, Rachael Womack, and Megan Martinez and husband Manuel; and great-grandchildren, Cle'lie Rose Sumrall, Axel Jude Sumrall, Finn Dattalo, Averie Ann Bourque, Annie Marie Bourque, Madison Martinez, Mavery Martinez, and Chandler Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Laura Beth "Lolo" Womack; and infant son, Boyd Delcambre.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Sumrall, Chris Bourque, Jake Delcambre, Alec Delcambre, Darren Droddy, and Samuel Perry.
