June Lejeune

Breaux Bridge - A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for June Lejeune, 68, who passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her residence. 

June Lejeune, a beloved member of the Teche Baptist Church in Breaux Bridge, passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on December 21, 1955, June was a dedicated wife of 46 years to William Lejeune and a loving mother to her children: Stephen, Scott, and Mindy Lejeune; sister, Katherine Muckelrath, and her husband, Jackie; and her sister-in-law, Karen Richardson. 

During her life, June found joy in the simple pleasures of home. Known for her delectable baked goods shared generously with her church and family, she found love and purpose in her kitchen. Gardening brought her peace, and she took pride in cultivating her yard as a reflection of her nurturing spirit. June's favorite pastimes included playing tennis and exploring the beauty of nature on walks with her son, Scott. Above all, her deepest happiness was found in the warmth of her family, friends and God.

In the peaceful reflection of June's life, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May the knowledge of her caring nature and the joy she brought to those around her provide comfort in this time of sorrow.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Masako Oyasto Richardson; and her brother, Jimmy Richardson.
