Junius 'Bud' Thibodeaux III

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Junius Bud Thibodeaux, III, 47, who died on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. A native and lifelong area resident, Bud was born on May 13, 1966 to Junius J. Thibodeaux, Jr. and Barbara Pinell Thibodeaux, and was a veteran of the US Army. An avid NASCAR fan, his hobbies included playing computer games, rebuilding old cars, working on radios, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his son, Dustin J. Thibodeaux and wife Lindy of Coteau; mother, Barbara Pinell Thibodeaux of Lydia; granddaughter, Rya N. Thibodeaux of Lydia; sisters, Sara T. LaBiche of Lydia, Emma L. Valentine and husband Robert of Katy, Texas; brothers, Eric John Thibodeaux of Port Neches, Texas, Kevin Michael Thibodeaux and wife Tanya of Lydia; grandmother, Mable Marie Guillotte Pinell Alexander and husband Rev. T.C. Alexander of Jennings. He was preceded in death by his father, Junius J. Thibodeaux, Jr; grandparents, Harry John Babe Pinell, Sr., Junius J. Thibodeaux, Sr., and Emma Marie Lyons Thibodeaux. Pallbearers will be Eric Thibodeaux, Kevin Thibodeaux, Robert Valentine, Loggen Dugas, Tracy Duhon, and Kenneth P. Russell.
