Karl James Guillory

A private memorial service will be held for Karl James Guillory, 66, who passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Karl was born in Abbeville, La on December 24, 1951 to the late Hampton J. Guillory, Sr. and Jane Mire Guillory. He was a General Contractor with years of experience, Karl was a skilled Master Mason, and the owner of DF Construction. Much of his brick work can be seen in both residential and commercial properties throughout South Louisiana. He is survived by his loving spouse of 47 years, Donna Frederick Guillory; sons, Grant and Stuart Guillory; daughter, Jan Viator and husband Jentry; granddaughter, Olivia Viator; brothers, Hampton Guillory, Jr. and wife Bonnie, Kenneth Guillory and wife Kee, Anthony Guillory and wife Pauline, and Chris Guillory; and sisters, Beverly Bourque and husband Huey, Linda Boutte and husband Louis, Rose Broussard and husband Keith, Caroline Viator and husband Howard, Karen Guillory, and Wendy Bruno and husband Chad. He was preceded in death by his father, Hampton Guillory, Sr.; mother, Jane Mire Guillory; sister, Virginia Freyou; brothers, Peter and Paul Guillory; godchild, Vance Guillory; and niece, Angie Bourque.
