Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks honoring the life of Kathleen Louviere, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at her residence.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm. It will continue on Friday from 8:00 am until 10:30 am.
The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening by Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Father David Rozas will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 by Deacon Perry. Readers will be Kacie Francois, Lily Louviere and Lauren Louviere. Gift Bearers will be Emma Louviere, Elijah Henry and Jude Henry.
As a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks, Kathy dedicated her time to serving others and was an active member of the Catholic Daughters. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her many acts of service and compassion.
A passionate artist at heart, Kathy found joy in painting, gardening, and crafting, immersing herself in creativity and the beauty of nature. She loved to bowl and her love for cooking and baking were evident in the meals she shared with friends and family. Her passion for camping brought her closer to loved ones, creating cherished memories.
Kathleen took immense pride in the life she and her late husband built together, always putting her family first. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she relished every opportunity to spoil them. The warmth of her spirit and her generous heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Sonya Louviere Francois (Kevin), Sean Louviere (Amy), Brandy Louviere Henry (Warren) and Karey Louviere (Lauren); brothers, Jeff Guidry (Charlene) and Perry Guidry (Edolia); sisters, Donna LaCombe, Sharon Dwyer (Kirk) and Angela Boudreaux (Deno); grandchildren, Noah Louviere, Jacob Francois, Evan Louviere, Kacie Francois, Lillian Louviere, Emma Louviere, Isaac Henry, Elijah Henry, Jude Henry, Ellie Louviere, Brady Louviere and Blair Louviere.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rogers Louviere; daughter, Dawn Louviere; parents, Herband Joseph Guidry and Aline Theriot Guidry; sister, Marian Comeaux; and brothers-in-law, Richard Comeaux and Timothy LaCombe.
Pallbearers will be Sean Louviere, Karey Louviere, Kevin Francois , Warren Henry, Noah Louviere and Jacob Francois.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Evan Louviere and Isaac Henry.
