Breaux Bridge - A Private Graveside Service will be held at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge for Keith James Usie, 66, who passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Private Graveside Service. Keith was an avid outdoorsman who loved cutting grass and squirrel hunting. He had a smile that would light up the room and always had someone laughing. Anyone who knew Keith never had a dull moment when they were together. He loved making new memories and playing with his grandson, Jaxon, who was the apple of his eye. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Sonnier Usie; daughter, Lacie Usie Babin and husband Joshua; son, Daniel Usie; sister, Jeanne Usie; brother, Kenneth Usie; and grandchildren, Jaxon Babin and Maison Usie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Guidry Usie; father, Alfred Usie; and brother, Dennis Usie. Pallbearers will be Eric Noel, Ronald Clement, Robie Pomier, Jamie Usie, Joshua Babin, Austin Pomier, and Gregory Boyer. Honorary pallbearer will be Jaxon Babin.
