Kenneth Charles Bairnsfather

Marrero, LA - Kenneth C. Bairnsfather, 71, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville, LA. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, with Fr. Neil Pettit officiating at the service. Another Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Chapel Shrine to Mary in Marrero, LA, with Rev. James Jimmy Jeanfreau officiating at the service. Kenneth worked as a construction superintendent for many years. As a pastime he enjoyed building projects, computers, and gardening. He was a very social person and never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Marks Bairnsfather of Arnaudville; his son, Christopher (Lauren) Bairnsfather of PA; daughter, Sherra (Ashley) Underwood of Westwego, LA; and his grandchildren, Isabella Bairnsfather, Ian Bairnsfather, and Zoie Underwood. He is preceded in death by his father, Wilbert James Bairnsfather, Sr.; his mother, Egnolia Orgeron Bairnsfather; and his brother Wilbert Bairnsfather, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337-332-2111), is in charge of arrangements.
