Kimberly "Peggy" Guillory

Breaux Bridge - Kimberly "Peggy" Guillory, a deeply cherished and devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend to all; went home to be with the Lord peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 39 years old. She was a Certified Medical Assistant for FMOL Pulmonary Group, resident of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Peggy had the most genuine and kind nature with a love for life and those around her. She always showed care and compassion to anyone she came across. She was a beautifully creative person who never failed to leave something more beautiful than she found it. She had a deep love for animals, especially her fur babies Sarge, Bella, Jr, and Landry. Kim loved to spend time with her grandson Bennett, being outside with her husband, gardening, reading, art and drawing, and spending time with friends and family. She lit up every room she was in, especially because you never knew what accent she might talk in or if she would break out in a fun little dance. Kim had a huge heart, contagious laugh, sharp wit, and the ability to remember tiny details. She had deep faith and loved Jesus.

Kimberly is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jonathan Guillory; son, Tyler Guillory (Serena); nephews, Hayden Agnew and Clayton Nelson who were in her and Jonathan's care; grandson, Bennett; parents, Kevin and Dana Nelson; sister, Farah Nelson (Corey); brother, Sean Nelson; grandfather, Larry Lemoine (Jeanie); father-in-law, James & her favorite mother-in-law, Jennifer Chapman; sisters-in-law, OG Kimberly Guillory Gardner and Megan Diliberto (Chris); nieces and nephews, Shanyn Nelson, Jonathan Nelson, Austin Guillory, Tristan Gardner, Jesse and Jace Nelson, and Sylvia, Vincent, & Eloise Diliberto; and her best friends, Erin Gotte and Shae Lopez. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Lemoine; paternal grandparents, Eleanor McGregor Wenzler and Darrell Nelson; her beloved sister, Kayla Nelson; and her fur babies, Sarge and Bella Guillory.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana for their compassionate care, especially McKenzie, her nurse that cared for her at home. We would also like to thank Dr. Frank Courmier for all that he did for Kim over the 10 years she worked with him. Dr. Courmier went above and beyond for her and our family and we are so grateful to know how loved and valued she was to him.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
