Arnaudville A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Arnaudville, for Kirvee Lynn Woodard, 61, who passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 am until 1:45 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Kirvee was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed duck hunting, field trials with dogs, rooster fighting - back in the days when it was legal, and rescuing animals. He was a practical joker with a big heart and a passion for helping people in need. He is survived by his fiance of 8 years, Jackie Stelly of Arnaudville; his son, Kirvee Jones Woodard of Church Point; four daughters, Stacie (Brooks) Hughes of Olney, IL, Courtney Guidry (companion, Jeremy Nelams) of Rayne, Bobbie Jo (Dan) Lathrop of Olney, IL, and Lacey Woodard of Rayne; his brother, Kerwin "Yogi" (Trudy) Woodard of Crowley; his sister, Thelma "Sissy" Woodard of Crowley; 15 grandchildren, Jacob, Shaun Claire and Alex Guidry, Taylor, Tyler and Tara Hughes, Hudson and Finn Lathrop, Lyla, Lily and New Baby Woodard, and Madison, Bailey, Kirveana and Kirvaya Woodard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kirvee Jones Woodard and Lillian Lou Hanks Woodard; his brother, Larry Woodard; and a grandson, Phillip Doucet.
