Kyler Allen Young

New Iberia – Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Kyler Allen Young, 35, who passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Entombment will be held at a later date in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Deacon Josh LeBlanc will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Thursday, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am.

A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, at Pellerin Funeral Home.

Kyler was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on May 26, 1991, and spent most of his life in New Iberia where he was raised. He was a 2009 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, and his adventurous spirit led him to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he lived the last several years.

A very lively and sweet person, Kyler had a caring heart and a kind soul. He loved cats, playing video games, all things Halloween, and visiting with his friends. But what he cherished most was time spent with his family, especially his son, Konner, whom Kyler loved with all of his heart.

Kyler is survived by his son, Konner Young of New Iberia; father, Kenny Young of New Iberia; mother, Kesla Latiolais Young of New Iberia; sister, Krysta Myers (Grant) of New Iberia; niece, Katelyn Myers of New Iberia; nephew, Parker Myers of New Iberia and grandparents, Patsy and Ken Bordelon of Breaux Bridge.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Allen and Bert Young, and Pat Latiolais.

Kyler will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
