Breaux Bridge, La- We Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Sis. Lachelle C. Julien, 28yrs of Breaux Bridge La. who, with her parents and younger siblings at her bed side, passed away on January 9th, after a courageous 4 year battle with sarcoma cancer at The Hospital of Providence in El Paso Tx. Despite her illness, she faced each day with strength, grace, and deep love for her family.

Lachelle was the youth director at her local church, an active College Nursing Student & a devoted mother to her greatest joy, Ryleigh Elise Nicholas. She was a loving daughter and a cherished sister & friend.

Lachelle, in her last moments of life, earned a new nickname amongst her family, LionHeart, due to her unwavering strength to continue efforts to fight until she couldn't fight any more.

Lachelle will be deeply missed and remembered for her uncompromising stance in her faith, her kindness, resilience, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.

She is survived by her parents, Lance Sr. and Contessa Julien; daughter, Ryleigh Nicholas; brothers, Lance Julien, Jr. and Landon Julien; sisters, Amaiyah Julien and Eriyon (Kordell Ames); nieces and nephews: Brayden Julien, Paisley North, Zander Ames.

She is preceded in death by her son, Tahj James Nicholas.

A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Soulcare Ministries of Lafayette honoring the life of Sis. Lachelle Julien.

A visitation will take place at Soulcare Ministries in Lafayette, on Saturday January 24, 2026 from 9:00am-11am.

Pastor Lance and Dr. Contessa Julien will officiate at the Home going service.

Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Any donations, flowers, & cards can be brought directly to the church or sent through Pellerin Funeral Home.
