St. Martinville - Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Saint Martinville, for Larry Bernard Talley, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 11:45 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Mr. Larry was an avid walker in the St. Martinville Park. He enjoyed working in his garden and taking care of his yard. He is survived by his wife, Jan Talley of St. Martinville, LA; three sons, Noel (Terri) Talley of Mauriceville, TX, Dale Talley of Hammond, LA, and Dean Talley of St. Martinville, LA; his step-son, John Williams of Broussard, LA; one daughter, Laurie (Chris) Dugas of St. Martinville, LA; four brothers, Jimmy Talley of Las Vegas, NV, Nolan Talley of CA, Jay (Virginia) Talley of VA, and Perry Talley and his wife, Janice of New Iberia, LA; two sisters, DeeDee (Richard) Blanchard of New Iberia, LA and Jeanette Huchison of Lafayette, LA; three grandchildren, Mariah Talley, Jacob Talley, and Simmie Dugas; one great-grandchild; and a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Matilda Gerourd Talley; his first wife, Rita Mae Talley; his sister, Audrey; his brother, Shelton Talley; and his granddaughter, Megan Dugas.
