Laura Henry Horne

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 8, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Laura Henry Horne, 53, who died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in New Iberia. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bullock will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Laura was born on June 18, 1960 in Iberia Parish, and was a graduate of Loreauville High School. An avid New Orleans Saints Fan, she enjoyed reading and fishing. Laura dearly loved her family and friends, and was a wonderful grandmother. She was a great person who loved helping others. Survivors include her father, Henry L. Henry of New Iberia; fianc, Terrell Louviere of New Iberia; son, Brian G. Horne, Jr. and wife Ciejie of Scott; daughters, Shandi L. Horne Gonsoulin and husband Clyde of New Iberia, Linzie Louviere of New Iberia; brothers, Randell L. Henry and wife Linda, Terry W. Henry and wife Carolyn, Antoine Latiolais and wife Kim all of New Iberia; sisters, Cheryl Henry Hanks and husband Kenny, Linda Henry Dugas and husband Vernon, Patricia Henry Champagne all of New Iberia; 7 grandchildren, Blaize, Hunter, Coy, Jonathon, Gabriel, Stevie-Ray, and Jaylynn. She was preceded in death by her mother, LauraLee LeBoeuf Henry; her niece and godchild, Ginger C. Vaughn; sisters-in-law, Lisa Horne and Donna Henry. Pallbearers will be B. J. Horne, Clyde Gonsoulin, Jarred Henry, Randall Gary, Shane Henry, and Josh Delcambre. Honorary pallbearers include Jason Badeaux, John Breaux, and Kevin Badeaux.
