St. Martinville- Lawrence P. Lavergne, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Lawrence was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister, Gene Berard and spouse Sidney; nephews, Armond Berard, and Brian Berard and spouse Amy; nieces, Charlene Broussard and spouse Chad, and Nicole Riley and spouse Nicholas; and great-nephews, Cole Riley, and Brent and Drew Berard.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Lavergne; and his parents, Armond and Lydia Bonin Lavergne.
