Rynella – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marcellus Catholic Church at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, for Lee Anthony LeBlanc, 64, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home in St. Martinville.
He will be laid to rest with his mother, Mary Nell Stein, in the church cemetery.
Rev. James Nguyen will be the Celebrant.
Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Lee Anthony LeBlanc was born in New Iberia on June 8, 1961, and was a 1979 graduate of NISH. Lee, affectionately known as Leroy, was a hard worker and known for his dedication as an electrician.
A true outdoorsman, Leroy found immense joy in gardening. The serenity of fishing provided him much solace, a peaceful retreat where he could reflect and reconnect with nature. Lee cherished moments spent shooting pool with friends and sharing laughter over a drink or two. His creativity flourished in woodworking, where he created pieces that reflected both his artistic vision and his ability to craft beauty from raw materials.
The love Lee held for animals was evident; he dedicated himself to raising dogs, cats, and rabbits, creating a home full of joy and furry companionship. His gentle heart resonated most profoundly with those who knew him, as he embraced every opportunity to share his affection for all creatures, big and small.
Leroy is survived by stepdaughters, Nicole Katrones and Jennifer Mire (Gary); step-granddaughters, Talia Katrones and Kaylee Mire; siblings, Lincoln LeBlanc (Penny), Kenneth Stein (Angie), Kevin Stein (Monica), Donald Stein, Jr., and Ann Stein Naquin (Barry); godson, Trey LeBlanc (Kenzie) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Leroy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kimberly Needham LeBlanc; father, Lincoln LeBlanc, Sr.; mother and father, Mary Nell and Donald Stein, Sr.; and stepson, Duane Fussell.
Leroy leaves behind a world more colorful than he found it. He will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
