Lena Richard Boudreaux

St. Martinville - Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Monday, September 23, 2013, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in Saint Martinville, for Lena Richard Boudreaux, 70, who passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Sunday and continue at 8:00 am until 11:30 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Barbara Belaire and Sadrie Devillier. Gift Bearers will be Callie Trosclair, Emily Champagne, and Mark Jagneaux. Music will be provided by Patrick Melancon. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in Saint Martinville. She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Bootsie" Boudreaux; her daughters, Julia (Nolis) Champagne, Melanie (Keith) Jagneaux, Jessica (Troy) Devillier, and Maudrey (Todd) Stevens; her brother, Daniel (Stella) Richard; her sisters, Artemese Richard (Leo) Lalonde, Theresa Richard (Paul) Huval, Laura Richard (Rouley) Lasseigne, and Elaine Richard (Roger) Latiolais; her sister-in-law, Mathilde Richard; her grandchildren, Jedidiah Jude Champagne, Erick Matthew Trosclair, Courtney Osborn Hebert, Justin Matthew Champagne, Mark Jagneaux, Callie Marie Trosclair, Trent Anthony Devillier, Emily Anne Champagne, Joshua Todd Stevens, Jacob Ray Stevens, Michael Joseph Stevens, and Matthew Gary Stevens; her great-granddaughter, Madison Marie Champagne, and one great-granddaughter on the way, Sophie Lynn Hebert. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ferrier and Julia Lagrange Richard; her infant son; her brothers, Joseph Avie (Josie) Richard, Howard (Mable) Richard, Hilton Joseph Richard, Raymond Richard, Milton Richard, and Irvin (Estelle) Richard; and her sisters, Clemense Allemand and Barbara Richard. Pallbearers will be Jed Champagne, Justin Champagne, Erick Trosclair, Eric Hebert, Trent Devillier, and Joshua Stevens.
