Leonard Lee Nevins

Breaux Bridge - A visitation will be held for Leonard Lee Nevins, 88, who passed away at Kaplan Healthcare Center, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 PM.        

Leonard Lee Nevins was born on July 2, 1934, in Jacksonville, Illinois. He was a heavy equipment owner and operator for many years and loved doing heavy construction work.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. As a pastime, he enjoyed watching old western movies on television.

Leonard will be remembered as a hardworking man for his family. He

worked his entire life and helped many in the heavy construction field.

He is survived by his daughter, Terry Lee Kunkel; son, Robert Lee Nevins; stepson, Jerod Prunty; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Opal Eldridge Nevins; first wife, Gloria Jean Byers; second wife, Marlys Nevins; son, Mark Nevins; son-in-law, Ross Kunkel; and grandson, Ryan Mark Kunkel.
