Leonie Marks Trahan

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 18, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Leonie Marks Trahan, 96, who passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of service on Monday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Leonie loved her family more than anything and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and doing puzzles. Leonie also loved to cook, travel, and read the Soap Digest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Landry and husband Norman of Breaux Bridge; brother, Luce Marks, Jr. of LaPlace; sisters, Edith Olivier Arnaud and husband Larry of Arnaudville and Joyce Taylor of Cecilia; grandchildren, Jed Landry and wife Deidre, Debbie Hebert and husband Tony, and Terri LeBlanc and husband Phillip; great-grandchildren, Callan Landry, Kye Landry, Slade Hebert and wife Olga, Trey LeBlanc and wife Heather, Trevor LeBlanc and wife Kristi, Trent LeBlanc and Ty LeBlanc; and her great-great grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, and Ellie LeBlanc, Reid and Jonah LeBlanc, and Ayden and Liam Hebert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Trahan; parents, Luce and Claudia Martin Marks; daughters, Jeanette Trahan and Diane M. Trahan; sons, Robert Trahan and Jackie Trahan; and her great granddaughter, Tori Hebert. Pallbearers will be Trey LeBlanc, Trevor LeBlanc, Trent LeBlanc, Ty LeBlanc, and Slade Hebert.
