Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Leroy Happy Jack James Barber, 57, who died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Barber served in the Marines and National Guard for 22 years. Survivors include his wife Jamara Johnson Barber of Breaux Bridge; his son Joshua Johnson of Breaux Bridge; his daughter Latonia Johnson of Breaux Bridge; his brothers Carol and Peter Barber of Breaux Bridge and Donald Barber of Lafayette; his sisters Annabelle Alexander, Dorothy Barber and Ruby Narcisse all of Breaux Bridge; one grandchild Tyrell Washington of Breaux Bridge He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Anna Lou Alexander Barber; one daughter Shemecka Johnson, 3 brothers Melvin, William and Harold Barber; 2 sisters Florence B. Williams and Willie Mae Barber; One Nephew Robert Coco Williams Jr. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 PM 10:00 PM, Friday April 29, 2005 and continue at 7:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2005 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2005 Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
