New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:30 PM Monday, April 18, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Lilly Antoinette Broussard, 7 who died Friday, April 15, 2011 in New Iberia . Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery . Rev. Jude Thierry will be the Celebrant. Born on May 29, 2003 , Lilly is the daughter of Tammy Peltier of New Iberia and Ronald Broussard of New Iberia . She enjoyed Dora the Explorer. Additional survivors include her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Huval Louivere of New Iberia ; paternal grandparents, Cheryl Milliman of New Iberia , Ronald and Dianne Broussard, Sr. of New Iberia ; brothers, Brandon Maturin of New Iberia , Braton Maturin of New Iberia ; godparents, Rusty and Erin Broussard, Bethany and Charlie Semar, Brian Broussard, Kerrigan Fitch; nephew, Mason Maturin. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Roy Peltier; maternal great grandparents, Antoinette Broussard, and Louis Huval, Sr.; paternal great grandparents, Lilly Armentor Hammons, Albert Kern, Jr., Billeus Broussard, and Inez Latiolais Broussard. Pallbearers will be Brandon Maturin, Braton Maturin, Brian Broussard, and Rusty Broussard. Honorary pallbearers include Micah Milliman and Charles Semar. The family would like to give special thanks to Lilly's caregivers Jackie Cormier, Shavonda Polite, Dr. Martin DeGravelle, family and staff, Dr. Walter Scott, family and staff, Dr. John Flatt, family and staff.
