Linda M. Billeaudeaux

August 8, 1943 — April 7, 2021

Breaux Bridge - There will be no service or funeral for Linda Miller Billeaudeaux, 77, who transcended on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her residence. In her honor, we ask you to go hug your cat or dog, water your plants, and then look into the sky and say her name, "Linda", out loud. This is the kind of service she would have wanted. We are grateful that her spirit was in our lives. Me (Michelle), Yvette, and McKenzie, her cats and dogs, love her endlessly, and we will miss her for the rest of our lives. Everyone that had her in their life was blessed by her generosity, joy, beauty, warmth and love. She always ran circles around me (Michelle), and most people I knew. She was always a firecracker with her fingers in every pie! Her brilliant wick burned from both ends. She had too many hobbies, abilities and loves, to list them all, but the top favorites were family, friends, cats, gardening, fishing, cooking, dragons, sewing, rocks and crystals. There was nothing she didn't set her mind to do that wasn't accomplished and accomplished near perfectly each time. She touched the hearts of so many people and was loved by all. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Michelle Billeaudeaux and Lisa Yvette Billeaudeaux; brother, Malcolm Aucoin (Tommie); granddaughter, McKenzie Antoinette Billeaudeaux; and many loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, David Wayne Billeaudeaux; father, Clarence Edward Miller; mother, Rebecca Wynona Lafleur Aucoin. Thank you to all the friends and family that rallied around her during her last few days of this life and those that came to see her or called to whisper sweet words in her ear, even when she could no longer talk back. She listened, smiled, and her heart was warmed. We can all take comfort in the fact that her last couple days were so peaceful, pain-free, confusion-free, quiet, calm, soft and comforting. This is all thanks to Amedisys Hospice of Lafayette. Mom's team was a God send. They took such good care of her. She felt safe enough to let go after meeting her "new doctor team" as she called them. Thank you again! Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
