Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Linda Marie Poirier, 67, who passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Sunday. 

Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral service.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2.

Linda Marie Poirier was born on April 13, 1955, in Breaux Bridge. She was currently working at Louisiana Sugar Cane Cooperative (LaSuCa) for 40 plus years. Even though she had no children, she was the matriarch of the family and made sure her siblings, nieces, and nephews were all taken care of. Linda loved to cook, bake, tending to her flowers, going to the casino, and enjoyed taking family vacations. She cherished her time spent with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brothers, Ricky J. Poirier (Dena), Russell J. Poirier (Mary Burns), and Jimmy A. Poirier; sisters, Yvonne Angelle (Butch) and Vickie M. Kidder (Earl); and a host of nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Tauzin Poirier; and her sisters, Connie A. Poirier and Cindy Poirier. 

Pallbearers will be Jack Angelle, Jeremy Poirier, Hunter Poirier, Rusty Poirier, Shane Breaux, and Sebastian Poirier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Fuselier, Kyle Breaux, Aiden Poirier, Shawn Breaux, Justin Boudreaux, Dusty Poirier, Stefan Breaux, Cole Domingue, and Asa Angelle.
