Belle Chasse, LA - A Word Service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Belle Chasse, LA for Lionel Joseph Ballay, Jr., 47, who passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at his residence. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery. Lionel was born in Marrero, Louisiana to his mother Cheryl Gilbert Hemme and the late Lionel Ballay, Sr. He enjoyed playing pool, golf, and video games. Lionel never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving mother, Cheryl Hemme and fiancé, Robert Bergeron of Breaux Bridge, LA. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
