Mr. Armentor was born on November 2, 1934, in New Iberia, to the late Laurent and Eunice Fremin Armentor. During high school he was a Golden Glove Boxer, having placed second in the State. Lloyd was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He married Annie Dore’ Armentor on December 29, 1955, during his time serving our country. They lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Del Rio, Texas during his time in the service, before returning to New Iberia for the remainder of their lives.

Lloyd was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved gardening, golf, and traveling across the country with lifelong friends. Lloyd worked in sales for various companies, including JEM Products. After he retired, he enjoyed many golf games and times at the hunting camp. He always looked forward to Friday Breakfast with his breakfast buddies.

He is survived by his children, Ricky Armentor (Jill) of Broussard, Lisa Armentor Hill (Billy) of Coteau, and Penny Armentor Hartwick (Kyle) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren Jennifer Hill Lasseigne (Barron), Kami Armentor (Ryan), Jordy Hill (Jessica), Hannah Hartwick, Jed Patout (Reagan), and Drew Patout (Ashley); great grandchildren: Drake, Peyton, Piper, Jenna, Reece, Sawyer, Jackson, Jude, Ava, Audrey, and Amelie; one sibling, Donald Armentor and numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 70 years, Annie Dore’ Armentor, and 12 of his brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Jordy Hill, Drake Lasseigne, Peyton Lasseigne, Dusty Frederick, Sim Armentor Jr., and Perfice Leblanc.

Honorary Pallbearers include Reece Lasseigne, Jackson East, Sawyer East, Sid Barrilleaux, Lon Dore, and Jude Armentor.

A huge thank you to Hospice of Acadiana for their care. We would also like to thank his caregivers – Brandi, Sarah, Netolia, Linda, Robbi, and his grandson Drake for their love, care, and compassion.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
