New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Lloyd Doucet, Sr., 77 who died Friday, April 22, 2011 in New Iberia . Born on January 27, 1934 in Loreauville, Mr. Doucet was the owner of LA Pest Control and was also a school bus driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was associated with Jehovahs Witnesses for many years of his life. Survivors include his wife, Olivia Fusilier Doucet of New Iberia; sons, Lloyd Doucet, Jr. and wife Verna, Bryan Doucet, Michael Doucet and wife Phyllis, and Danny Doucet all of New Iberia; daughters, Loyce Doucet of New Iberia, Joy Doucet of Florida; brothers, Willie Doucet and wife Velma of New Iberia, Leonard Brown of Abbeville; sister, Mary Dell Williams and husband Roy of New Iberia; 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Claymon Doucet; mother, Alzire Jacque; step father, Louis Brown; and a sister, Evelyn. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia .
