Loretta "Lute" Solari LaCombe

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Loretta "Lute" Solari LaCombe, 83, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at Calcutta House. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 8:00 AM until time of service. 

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Tuesday. 

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. 

Loretta, affectionately known to family and friends as "Lute", was born on October 18, 1939, in St. Martinville. She loved leisurely car rides, traveling, and she looked forward to having her hair done every Thursday.  As a pastime, she enjoyed going to the casino and playing Pokeno.  

She is survived by her sons, Damon Coycault (Pam), Creig Coycault, and Lonnie LaCombe (Lori); daughters, Gwenda Coycault Kendrick (Wayne) and Jodi LaCombe; brothers, Roger Solari, James "Jimmy" Solari (Eileen), and Darryl Solari (Marti); sister, Catherine Rabalais; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Savie and Eve Lasseigne Solari; 1st husband, Kenneth Edward Coycault; 2nd husband, William "Bill" LaCombe; sisters, Genevieve "Jenny" Castille and Shirley Townsend; and a grandchild, Chamorn Kazemi.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Coycault, Steve Albert, Corey Albert, Tyler LaCombe, Trenton LaCombe, and Trey LaCombe. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Ghazy and Zackery Ghazy.
