A native and lifelong area resident, Mrs. McLean was born on October 28, 1937, to the late Etienne and Olive Viator Dore. She worked 13 years for Circle K Convenience Stores, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and selflessness that will forever be remembered.

Lucy, a compassionate soul, was a loving mother and grandmother, who was known for her unwavering commitment to caring for others. Her warm and nurturing personality touched the lives of all those around her, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts she encountered. Whether it was through a comforting smile or a helping hand, Lucy's genuine nature shone brightly, embodying the true essence of empathy.

Lucy found joy in simple yet meaningful hobbies. From sewing to embroidery, making home movies to collecting family pictures and creating albums to cherish precious memories, she filled her days with moments of creativity and love. She worshipped at Our Savior's Church in Broussard where she found peace in faith.

As we mourn the loss of Lucy McLean, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the lives she touched. She is survived by her loving family and friends who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.
