Margaret "Git" Robicheaux Anthony

Cecilia - A private graveside service will be held for Margaret "Git" Robicheaux Anthony, 54, who passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Margaret, known to many as "Git," was born July 22, 1965 in Lafayette. She was employed as a training coordinator at Arc of St. Martinville. Git enjoyed cooking, baking, friendly card games with family, and watching Syfy movies. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Travis Anthony; children, Ashley Anthony (Darrius) and Kobe Anthony (Harli); one grandchild, Kai James Westbrook; mother, Emily Robicheaux; brothers, Joseph L. Robicheaux (Dolly), Jerry Robicheaux, Jessie Robicheaux, and Gary Robicheaux; sisters, Mary Alice Lewis (Alvin), Katherine Johnson (Kevin), Theresa Livings (Michael ); Aristole "T-Boy" Solomon, whom she raised as a son; mother-in-law, Mary Belva Anthony; godchildren: Lacey Carmouche, Kent Johnson and Emily Lewis; sisters-in-law, Wanda Anthony, Josephine (Calvin) Mallery, Patricia Anthony, and Jonella Anthony; brothers-in-law, Roland Anthony and Tilden Anthony; her godfather, Percy Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, co-workers and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Linton Robicheaux; sister, Betty Jane Robicheaux; maternal grandparents, Enola Calais and George Borel; paternal grandparents, Lenny and Maudry Gordon Robicheaux; and brother-in-law, Jody Anthony. Honorary pallbearers will be K. Johnson, Noah Livings, Joseph Robicheaux III, Isaiah Wiltz, Dortavean Jones, Joseph Johnson, Cameron Livings, Roland Anthony and Kevin Mallery Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
