Margaret Kaumans

Breaux Bridge - Margaret Laughlin Kaumans, 72, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.

Margaret was a faithful Christian who offered unwavering love and support to those around her. As a homemaker, she dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming environment for her daughter and later, her grandchildren. Her legacy as an amazing mother and grandmother will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.

An adventurous spirit, she embraced life with an enthusiasm that inspired many. Margaret's love of gardening reflected her nurturing nature; she found joy and solace among her plants, cultivating beauty and tranquility in her surroundings. Margaret will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Sanford and her husband, Paul; former husbands, John Kaumans and Jessie Boudreaux; brothers, David Laughlin and his wife, Margaret and Charles Laughlin; grandchildren, Kathryn Sanford-Green and her husband, David and Kaitlyn Sanford Araya and her husband, Josue; and great-grandchild, Mildred Sanford-Green, as well as expected baby boy, Asher Araya.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Huddler Laughlin; and brothers, Roger Laughlin and James Mallorin.
