Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Monday, July 28, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Margie Ann Lalonde Latiolais, 76, who passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:30 am on Monday and until 1:30 pm. A rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm on Monday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Harriet LaPorte and Gabrielle Schexnailder. Gift bearers will be Claire and Evan Latiolais. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Latiolais was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending her time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, camping and just being outdoors. A devout Catholic, she was a very patient and caring person. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Latiolais, her sons, Kevin Latiolais and his wife Angelique and Kerry Latiolais and his wife Mary, her daughter, Christine Schexnailder and her husband Frankie, her sister, Geraldine Lagrange, her grandchildren, Landon, Connor and Claire Latiolais, Christopher, Matthew and Evan Latiolais, Gabrielle, Benjamin and William Schexnailder, and a great granddaughter due in August. She is preceded in death by her father, Regis Lalonde, her mother, Pauline Devillier Lalonde, her brothers, Leo, Wilfred and Wilbert Lalonde and her sister, Elsie Sanders. Pallbearers will be Connor Latiolais, Landon Latiolais, Matthew Latiolais, Christopher Latiolais, Benjamin Schexnailder and William Schexnailder. Honorary pallbearer will be Christine Schexnailder.
