Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Marian Marie Morvant , 90, who passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday.A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Saturday.Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the service.Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Marian was born July 15, 1930 in Breaux Bridge. She was a devout Catholic. Marian was parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a member of the Adult Choir for many years. She enjoyed singing, sewing and crocheting. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her two sons, Rickey J. Morvant and Carl J. Morvant both of Breaux Bridge; and one grandchild, Crystal Morvant of Breaux Bridge.She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Jean Morvant; parents, Alphe and Lucia Melancon Belaire; sister, Lillian Mannino; son, James Morvant. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Marian's caregivers, Nellie, Rosa, Catrina, Kathy and Ashlee for the excellent care given.
