Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Marie Anne Lou Champagne Hayes, 97, who passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am until 1:45 pm on Thursday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Hayes was a wonderful cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends to enjoy. She is survived by five sons, Clarence Hayes and wife, Nelle, Cecil Hayes and wife, Mary, Easton Hayes and wife, Mary, Larry Hayes and wife, Gayle, and Wilton Bobby Hayes; two daughters, Marella Trahan and husband, Andy, and Beverly Clark and husband, Robert; her sister, Merlyn Mouton; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sauvol Hayes; her parents, Eraste and Theodora Thibodeaux Champagne; three sons, Jason, Darryl, and Hurbon Hayes; and an infant daughter, Aline Hayes.
