Marjorie Ann Daigle, a beloved member of the Breaux Bridge community, passed away on December 25, 2023, at the place she held dear to her heart - Breaux Bridge. She was born on May 10, 1958, and touched the lives of many with her warm heart and gentle spirit. Marjorie's dedication to her career and passion for life will always be cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.

For 25 years, Marjorie served as a cook at Breaux Bridge Elementary School. Her talents in the kitchen brought joy to countless students and staff members. With a kind smile and nurturing nature, she made sure that everyone felt cared for and well-fed.

Beyond her career, Marjorie enjoyed staying home and pursuing various hobbies and interests. She had a true knack for creating beautiful things - whether it was sewing or crocheting intricate patterns. Her skillful hands brought life to every needle and thread. Marjorie's creations will forever serve as reminders of her artistic soul and attention to detail.

In her free time, Marjorie found happiness with her family, friends and co-workers. Cooking was not just a profession for her; it was a form of expression and an opportunity to bring people together.

Marjorie never ceased to stimulate her mind and expand her horizons. Whether it was through reading books that transported her to different worlds or challenging herself with puzzles that tested her intellect, she found boundless joy in exploring new ideas and exercising her imagination.

A deck of cards was not just a deck of cards to Marjorie; it was an invitation to connect with loved ones. Playing cards brought laughter and camaraderie into her life, creating moments that will forever be treasured by those who had the pleasure of playing alongside her.

Coloring was one of Marjorie's simple pleasures. With a box of colorful pencils and a blank page, she could transform even the simplest drawing into a vibrant work of art. Her ability to find joy in the small things served as a gentle reminder for all those around her to appreciate the beauty that surrounded them.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Jenna) Daigle; step-daughters, Angela Daigle and Lou Ella (Tim) Hollingsworth; brothers, Milton (Nellie) Mouton, Clifford Mouton, Raymond (Scarlet) Mouton, and  William " Yuam" (Marie) Belaire; sister, Jenny Abshire (Adam); and her grandchildren, Kody Daigle and Ryder Lineske and other numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
