With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Mark Johnson, a devoted father, proud grandfather, beloved family man, and loyal friend. He was a man whose life was defined by love, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those around him.
Above all else, he loved his family. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that they will cherish forever. Whether it was sharing stories, laughing together, or simply enjoying each other's company, he made every moment meaningful.
He had a lifelong love for baseball and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. These were more than hobbies-they were opportunities to make memories with the people he loved most.
He was known for being dependable, hardworking, and fun to be around. If someone needed help, he never hesitated to lend a hand. Friends, neighbors, and family knew they could always count on him.
His generous heart, willingness to serve others, and genuine kindness touched countless lives.
He will be remembered for his warm smile, his sense of humor, his selfless spirit, and the love he poured into his family every day. Though he is no longer with us, the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his legacy of love, faith, strength, generosity, and devotion to family will live on through all who were blessed to know him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
He is survived by his wife, Alison Johnson; mother, Barbara Ann Robin Johnson; children, Sydne Johnson Breaux (Ross), Stevi Lavergne (Matthew), Jared Gunter (Lynsey) and Shelby Gunter; siblings, David Johnson (Sherry), Adam Johnson (Trisha), Ramona Clark (Tom) and William Johnson (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Avery Breaux, Alexa Breaux, Andon Breaux, Alyce Breaux, Peyton Johnson, Brynn Lavergne, Maddox Lavergne and Raylyn Roberie; 7 nieces and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Adley Joseph Johnson; and his grandchild, Ashton Ross Breaux.
