Marty LeCamus

Loreauville– Private graveside services will be held at All Saints Cemetery, in Loreauville, for Marty LeCamus, 63, of Jeanerette, who passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, after a brief illness.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday.

A native and lifelong area resident, Marty was born on January 30, 1963, to the late Skerty and Gladys Camille LeCamus. He was a 1981 graduate of New Iberia Senior High, where he was a member of the bowling team. When he was younger, Marty enjoyed playing baseball, working out and lifting weights. He worked as a welder for many years, and enjoyed watching wrestling and football, including his favorite team, the Houston Texans. Most of all, Marty cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Bayard LeCamus; children, Martie LeCamus (Bryson) and Kolin LeCamus (Valerie); step children, Nikki Bayard (Krystin), Josh Bayard (Theresa), and Sophie Bayard (Kyle); grandchildren, Lexi LeCamus, Gavin LeCamus, Ella Champagne, and Evie Chastant; step grandchildren, Myla Lechevalier, Annie Bayard, Kamdyn Bayard, and Grayson Bayard; sister, Dawn LeCamus Bush and Janelle Gonsoulin (Benny); father-in-law, Robert Johnson; sisters-in-law, Pam Bayard, Monica Viator (Bobby) and Christy Bayard Alleman.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Skerty LeCamus; mother, Gladys Camille LeCamus Riley; son, Rocky LeCamus; brother, Kurt LeCamus; godchild, Daniel Menard; nephew, Derek Bush; best friend, Donald Robertson; grandparents, Johnny Camille, Ella Camille, Husville LeCamus, and Amelie LeCamus; mother-in-law, Linda Johnson; and father-in-law, Harry Bayard.

Pallbearers will be Kolin LeCamus, Gavin LeCamus, Nikki Bayard, Josh Bayard, Monty Boudreaux, and Butch Boudreaux.

Honorary pallbearers include Buddy Comeaux, Curt Romero, Allen LeBlanc, Blake Debroc, and Kevin Seaux.
