New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Mary Lou Bourque, 72, who passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in New Iberia. ; Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery. ; Rev. Mark Gondron, pastor of Temple Baptist Church will conduct the funeral service. ; A native of San Antonio, Texas and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mary Lou owned and operated Mary Lous Flower Shop. She also was a floral designer for Winn Dixie for several years. Mary enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren. ; Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Joseph Bourque of New Iberia; her sons, Paul Bourque and wife Sally, Randall Bourque and Samuel Bourque, all of New Iberia; her daughter, Darlene Mayeaux and husband Patrick of New Iberia; her sisters, Alicia Farais, Mercedes Carrillo, Mary Nerio and Virginia Cano, all of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Bridget Bourque, Blair and Bailie Bourque, Cody Comeaux, Jordy Comeaux, Brock Comeaux, Sarah Bourque, Jenna Bourque, Brelen Romero, Sammy Bourque, Shane Mayeaux, Jared Mayeaux and Alicia Mayeaux; 2 great grandchildren. ; She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr.& Mrs. Munoz'; brother, Pedro Munoz; sisters, Pauline Borrego, Paz Camargo and Eva Mendoza. ; Pall Bearers will be Paul Bourque, Randall Bourque, Samuel Bourque, Jared Bourque, Shane Mayeaux and Gerald Sherwood. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. ; Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331, is in charge of arrangements.
