Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Mary Lou Huval Caillier, 87, who passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 10:45 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday with Deacon Ken Soignier. Rev. Gary Schexnayder will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Abby Dumatrait, Lily Champagne, and Libby Caillier. Gift Bearers will be Tate Dumatrait, Peyton Caillier, Jed Johnson, and Kat Touchet. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Caillier enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. The family would like to give special thanks to her special granddaughter Kristi and her caregivers, Kat Touchet and Sophie Guidroz, for their love and care during Mrs. Caillier's illness. Donations may be made in Mrs. Caillier's memory to Acadiana Hospice and Palliative Care. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Ralph David Caillier, Sr.; her sons, Ralph David Caillier, Jr. and wife Katherine; Danny Charles Caillier and wife Brenda; and Carl Michael Caillier and wife Gail; her daughters, Bonnie Caillier Latiolais and husband Garland; Jackie Caillier Dumatrait and husband Bobby; and Kathryn Caillier Hebert and husband Warren; grandchildren, Kristi Caillier (Ken), Dawn Caillier Johnson (Jeb), Shane Caillier (Kelly), Scott Latiolais, Si Latiolais (Katie), Sarah Latiolais, Kelly Caillier (Danielle), Joey Caillier (Crystal), Christopher Dumatrait (Tiffany), Abby Dumatrait (Jerrod), Kaine Hebert (Sarah), and Daniel Hebert (Kara); step grandchildren, Chad Landry and Josh Landry; great grandchildren, Ian Patin (Olivia), Britt Patin (Kylie), Lily Champagne, Jed Johnson, Bella Johnson, Estelle Johnson, Libby Caillier, Lana Caillier, Ethan Latiolais, Gabrielle Caillier, Kameron Caillier, Peyton Caillier, Annie-Kate Caillier, Allie-Claire Caillier, Emma Dumatrait, Tate Dumatrait, and Beau Hebert; and a step great grandchild, Laken Hollier. She was preceded in death by father, Evans William Huval; her mother, Baptistine Thibodeaux Huval; her brother, Robert "Bob" Huval; her sister, Geraldine H. Hebert; and a niece, Kimberly Hebert Periou. Pallbearers will be Shane Caillier, Scott Latiolais, Si Latiolais, Christopher Dumatrait, Ian Patin, Britt Patin, Danny Caillier, Kaine Hebert, and Carl Caillier.
