Breaux Bridge- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, June 24, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Mary Connie Davis, 64, who passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Friday.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Friday.

Rev. George-Bede Ajuruchi, SSJ will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.

"Connie", as she was known to many, was a native of Breaux Bridge.  She was kindhearted, with a gentle soul, and a smile that greeted you from miles away, accompanied with the phrase "Hey My Baby!", as she loved on you.  She always enjoyed time well-spent with family and created moments we'll never forget.  Whether preparing some good ole' soul food, swinging out to her favorite music, or just sitting outside enjoying a breeze, any time spent with her was much appreciated.  She loved everyone and she will be truly missed.

She is survived by sons, Lucas Roberts (Chastity) and Demarcus Smith; brothers Aaron Williams (Theresa), Eddie Williams (Elaine), Larry Davis, and Jerome Davis (Raeven); and her grandchildren Khamani Roberts and Alaysia Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Grace Williams Davis; sisters, Dianna Locuste and Georgia Landry; and one brother, Douglas Davis, Jr.
