Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Monday, June 16, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Mary Ann Calais Cypriean, 60. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until 10:00 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 am on Monday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. The angels opened the gates of Heaven for Mary Ann Calais Cypriean on June 10, 2014. Mary Ann was born on August 20, 1953 in Arnaudville, Louisiana to Joseph Sr. and Alvirda Calais. She married Gerald Cypriean and together they were blessed with a daughter, Stephanie Ann Cypriean, whose fianc, is Tyron Tonkins, and a son, Keith Joseph Cypriean. Mary Ann was a talented, motivated and hard-working individual. She opened and operated a hamburger and snow cone stand, worked for Martin Mills and was admired by many for her organizational skills and cleaning abilities. She was a nurturing and compassionate person with a witty personality. Until she was called to be with the Lord, Mary Ann was also a caregiver who took excellent care of her mother. She leaves to cherish her memories; mother, Alvirda J. Calais; daughter, Stephanie Ann Cypriean and her fianc, Tyrone Tonkins; son, Keith Joseph Cypriean; sisters, Gloria Calais Griffin and her husband, Roy Griffin, Rose Calais Thibodeaux and her husband, Courtney, Virgie Calais Anderson and her husband, Claude, Jr., and Patricia Ann Calais; brother, Joseph V. Calais, Jr.. She is also survived by her grandson, whom she loved dearly; Johnta laderren Jones, Trevon Keith Ardoin, and Keithen Gerald Ardoin; Godchildren, Roy Griffin, Jr. and Eric Paul Broussard, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph V. Calais Sr. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Anderson, Jeremy Duhon, Clinton Joseph, Kevin Thibodeaux, Tyron Tonkins, and Hillery Tonkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis James, Troy Anderson, Roy Griffin, Jr., Kenneth Thibodeaux, John Williams, and Joseph V.
